Gardner Pinfold Report Released
- The
September 30, 2005 report from Gardner Pinfold did not produce any
recommendations. The study, instead, identified four options for the
government to consider related to stabilizing gasoline prices in Nova
Scotia. Two of the options are identical to the recommendations from
the 2004 Government Select Committee Report namely: Regulating Gasoline Pricing and/or Regulating Retailer Margins.
- The
RGDA continues to provide government with weekly statistics that
support the move to regulation in terms of making available lower
gasoline costs to Nova Scotia motorists.
